About Josh Smith

Josh Smith is a 23 year old off-road driver. Smith Brother Motorsports is based in Denver, Colorado. Josh competes in Ultra 4 4900 Open and Best in the Desert UTV Pro.

Josh grew up off-roading RZRs and started racing as soon as he could drive. When he turned 16, he packed his 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 and headed South to the 2018 King of the Hammers race! After making it 97 hard miles, he was addicted and ready to build a car to conquer, and that he did.

After 4 years of attempts, he finally finished

King of the Hammers 2021 at the age of 19 in a newly built RZR Pro XP. The following race at Area BFE in Moab, he scored his first podium. At the 2022 King of the Hammers he fought his way to a 2nd place podium. 

Josh is starting to direct his focus to desert racing, racing BITD Vegas to Reno (and finishing!) the last 3 years. Josh hopes to continue his racing path in desert and rocks.
